Camp Cuddle Retreat – Kansas City, Missouri – Session 1
Join Tayva for Camp Cuddle – a retreat where we EXCLUSIVELY learn to sew on Cuddle brand minky fabric! This retreat will be held just north of Kansas City, Missouri at “The Art Nest” retreat center. This is an all-inclusive retreat, meaning shared room accommodations, all meals and snacks, as well as ALL of the Cuddle fabric is INCLUDED in the price!
At Camp Cuddle we will sew the following projects:
- Cuddle Infinity Scarf
- Cuddle Infinity Scarf with a Zipper
- Pocket Scarf
- Pillow Sham
- Small Throw Blanket
- Small Self-Binding Throw Blanket
- Large Blanket (either a Throw or Self-Binding)
- Cuddle Strip Quilt
This is a project-based retreat and open to all who want to learn to sew the listed Cuddle/minky projects – this is not an open-sew, bring your own project type of retreat. This retreat is open to all sewists with basic sewing skills up to advanced award-winning quilters.
Session One begins on Thursday February 27, 2025 at 10am and ends on Sunday March 2, 2025 at 1pm.
This retreat includes the eight projects listed above, as well as three separate Trunk Shows, a small Gift Exchange, and daily Happy Hours.

This retreat is built for new-to-Cuddle sewists. You will leave this retreat confident to sew any type of Cuddle/minky fabric successfully and with ease, guaranteed! If you have been sewing some Cuddle/minky and have struggled with puckering or stretching – we will help you learn to sew Cuddle/minky successfully on your own machine.
