We charge a flat rate of $7.50 for shipping within the US. Once you hit $100, shipping is automatically free. Just make sure to check free shipping at checkout.


For International Customers, shipping charged is for up to 16 yards of cotton or 3 yards of most minky. If you order more, we will message you with the difference in shipping if there is any. If you want an exact quote, please message Orders@CaliQuiltCo.com with your name, city, country, and postal code along with what how much you are order of cotton and minky. If minky, please specify what type of minky.

Most orders ship within 1-2 Business Days. During busy periods, it may be up to 4 Business Days.

Yes we have a retail store and we are the largest Quilt Shop in Northern California. We are open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm. Our 10,000 Sq Foot Retail Shop is at 11395 Folsom Blvd Suite 200 in Rancho Cordova. We are located on Folsom Blvd between Sunrise and Hazel and we are located next to Blue Compass RV (formerly Folsom Lake RV) and in the same building as Superbike Showroom at the end of the building by the freeway.

We only sell Quilt Shop Quality Cotton and Minky fabric in our store except for a few licensed fabrics that do not come in Quilt Shop Quality Fabrics. Name brand quilting cotton fabric is typically of higher quality than the cotton fabric found in box stores. One of the main reasons for this is that name brand quilting cotton fabric is often made from 100% cotton, whereas the cotton fabric found in box stores may be a blend of cotton and synthetic fibers. While blends can be more affordable, they tend to have a lower thread count and may not be as durable or comfortable as 100% cotton. Even if a bolt in a box store says “100% cotton,” it may be lower thread count. In addition to being made from higher quality materials, name brand quilting cotton fabric is often printed using higher quality techniques. This means that the colors are more vibrant and the designs are more intricate and detailed. The printing process for name brand quilting cotton fabric often involves multiple screens and layers, which can result in a more sophisticated final product. Another advantage of name brand quilting cotton fabric is that it often has a tighter weave than the cotton fabric found in box stores. A tighter weave means that the fabric is less likely to fray or stretch out of shape, which can be important for quilting projects where accuracy is key. The tighter weave also means that the fabric is less likely to pill or wear down over time, which can help your quilt stay looking beautiful for years to come.

Minky fabric, also known as plush fabric or microfiber fabric, is made from 100% polyester fibers that are knitted into fabrics of varying weights and pile heights. Most minky fabric is one-sided, meaning the plusher, fur-like texture is only on the top side. Double sided minky is Lamb and Cloud Cuddle. Brand Names for Minky: Cuddle is the brand name for Shannon Fabrics Snuggle is the brand name for EZ Fabrics which also makes for other companies Timeless Treasures and QT Fabrics Most Minky is 58/60 inches wide except Mirage which is 80 inches wide and Extra Wide Smooth which is 90 inches wide.

Classes have to be cancelled at least 5 Days before the class for store credit. If any class items have been picked up or shipped out, there is no cancellation. This policy allows us to keep our class costs low.
