A little fabric, a little time, and a whole lot of heart can make a big difference.
Cali Quilt Co. is proud to support Ryan's Case for Smiles, a volunteer organization that brings comfort and smiles to children in hospitals through bright, cheerful, handmade pillowcases.
We'd love for you to join us for one (or more!) of our community sewing days as we come together to sew pillowcases for this wonderful cause.
November Community Sewing Days
Monday, November 9 | 10 AM–3 PM

Monday, November 23 | 10 AM–3 PM
Table Reservation: $5 per person
Choose your preferred date when registering. Your reservation includes a sewing space, coffee or tea, and a pot of soup to share. If you have food allergies, please bring your own lunch.
What to Bring
Bring your sewing machine, thread, basic sewing supplies, and any bright, fun fabric you'd like to contribute.
Ryan's Case for Smiles requests cheerful, child-friendly prints and no glitter fabric.
Don't have fabric? Please don't let that stop you!
Cali Quilt Co. is donating several bolts of fabric, and we're expecting additional donations from our wonderful customers. If you have time and a willing heart, we'll help keep you sewing!
We'll also have precut pillowcase kits available in-store for just $5–$10 each, heavily discounted from their regular retail prices of $14.95–$19.95.
All Skill Levels Are Welcome!
Never made a pillowcase before? Tayva will teach you the easy Burrito Method for sewing pillowcases.
Already have a favorite method? You're welcome to bring your serger!
Whether you have time to make just one pillowcase or want to spend the day making as many as possible, every single one matters.
More than anything, we appreciate your time, generosity, and the giant hearts that make our sewing community so special.
