We are launching our new Owner's Embroidery Classes and we invite you to join us! We have a series of 12 classes across the next year to teach you more about using your machine, and different embroidery techniques.
Class One: Embellishments (Free-Standing Lace, Free-Standing Applique)
Class Two: Piecing In-The-Hoop
Class Three: Machine Applique
Class Four: Single Jumbo or Multi-Hooping Raw Edge Applique
Class Five: Blanket Stitch Applique
Class Six: Trapunto
Class Seven: 3D Pinwheel Blocks
Class Eight: Tiling Scene Techniques
Class Nine: Multi-Hooping Placement and Combining Embroidery Elements
Class Ten: Continuous Embroidery & Adding Text
Class Eleven: Assembly
Class Twelve: Quilting In-The-Hoop
We will be making the OESD "My Happy Place" Wall Hanging throughout this series of classes. The project is fun and cute, but the important part is the education you will receive. In addition to the above list of techniques, we will also be working towards stabilizer organization and labeling so that you know what you have, how to use it, and what you can substitute and when. Attending these classes will give you a solid embroidery vocabulary and a sampling of techniques to find what you enjoy most. You may become the next master of something not on your radar yet - we are going to have SO MUCH FUN!

As Cali Quilt Co Owners, we do not charge you for this instruction. There is a $10 file fee each class, and this is all that you will be charged. You will receive the files and a printed copy of instructions for each class you register for and attend, or you will receive an electronic copy of the files and instructions if you register but miss class - we are unable to manage the amount of paper generated across all of our classes, thank you for understanding.
Each class is 2-3 hours, and you are welcome to stay and work on other projects after class at no additional charge.
